Strong Demand Exists for New Science Materials Even in States That Haven't Adopted the Standards

The Next Generation Science Standards are likely to force K-12 companies to develop new content, PD, and formative assessment tools.

The standards call for schools to focus on developing students skills in conducting investigations, analyzing evidence, draw from multiple sources, and develop evidence–not just memorize facts. But reaching that more complex level of scientific understanding will likely require many content producers to recast their materials.
