Education Week Launches Industry & Innovation E-Newsletter

Here at Education Week, we get it. You’re busy, and you like to know stuff, especially stuff that helps you do your job or is just plain interesting. Often those two factors are at conflict. That’s why, in addition to providing our coverage in print and online, we offer you the chance to have that same in-depth coverage beamed straight to your inbox, in a nice tidy package, through our e-newsletters.

Today, EdWeek launched a new e-newsletter, dedicated to “Industry & Innovation,” a new area of coverage for us that appears in this blog and in the pages of our weekly print edition. To sign up for the “Industry & Innovation” e-newsletter, EdWeek users should update their e-newsletter preferences. (Make sure you log in first.)

Those new to EdWeek can sign up for the newsletter for free here.

The newsletter highlights articles, blog posts, commentary, and other goodies on topics such as education entrepreneurship, the publishing industry, charter school management, the ed-tech sector, and all of the newest and the most cutting-edge efforts aimed at improving K-12 schools. There are also links to sponsored white papers about these topics, listings from Top School Jobs, and information on upcoming Education Week events, including webinars and live chats.

Here’s a sampling of stories included in our inaugural I&I newsletter:

The e-newsletter will be distributed monthly at first, with plans to increase the frequency down the road. So be sure to subscribe and share it with your colleagues and friends. And for daily coverage of the education industry and the new ideas affecting it, visit Education Week and Marketplace K-12.
